My name is Karl Baillie, I’m a L1 & L2 techie at a medium sized web-hosting firm of which prides itself on fantastic customer service, extremely high levels of uptime and consistently good performance.

After coming out of University, I now have well over 2 years hands on experience with CentOS & cPanel in a production environment.  This entails dealing with a large variety of issues, alerts and customer difficulties each day.  I strive to go above and beyond to ensure their issues are dealt with in full, usually at the expense of my own sanity .

My main past time activity has to be web-development.  Whilst my eye for design has not quite matured to the levels I’d like (maybe I just need a Mac?), I’d usually settle for adapting various scripts and templates to create websites and web-services which generate passive revenue, be that through affiliate marketing of popular PPC networks.
